Gears #10 Balla's Mechanism by AlexFlorezArt Gears #10 Balla's Mechanism by AlexFlorezArt
acrylic and ink on canvas - 2012
can't remember the dimensions, it's... big...

Abstract painting made for a local gallery's juried show. It made it in! I'm putting a more futurist twist on my gears, so the outlines start becoming repeated contours and less defined.

Here's the show details: [link]

Stop by if your in the area, you may even see me at the show!

That's awesome stuff.  The colors are substantial and somewhat minimal so the focus is on radical lines and shapes. A very accurate tribute to futurism art.  LOVE IT. :D

Thank you.  I'm hoping to do a lot more Neo Futurist pieces soon.  I have some sketches on my instagram if you want to keep up to date. instagram.com/alexflorezart

No, no problem. To make a smiley just use a colon and a parentheses without a space between. : )
You can also click the "emoticons" button at the bottom of the message box for a huge list of ones to use. :winner: :floating:  =D 8-)
